In 2024, Erica completed a Basic Directing for Theatre course focused on script analysis, staging, and collaborative work with actors and production teams. Through hands-on rehearsals and a final directed scene, she developed skills in shaping character objectives, blocking, and translating text into clear production choices . Her work included building a detailed run book with character analysis, design elements, and staging plans to support both performers and technical execution . This experience strengthened her ability to think like a director, enhancing her effectiveness as a stage manager and collaborator in the rehearsal room.
